The Telangana government is set to host an Iftar dinner at LB Stadium on Friday, coinciding with the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will lead the event, which aims to foster inclusivity and religious harmony, alongside ministers, MPs, legislators, and other elected representatives.
Adviser to the State government, Mohd Shabbir Ali, visited the venue on Wednesday to oversee preparations for the Iftar dinner. He emphasized the importance of extending hospitality to the Muslim community during Ramadan and instructed officials to ensure elaborate arrangements, including food, drinking water, mobile toilets, and other basic amenities to accommodate guests comfortably.
Special provisions will be made for Muslim attendees to offer Namaz at the venue. Officials were directed to facilitate a smooth and hassle-free experience for all participants.
The meeting was attended by Rajya Sabha member Anil Kumar Yadav, Chief Minister’s Office Principal Secretary Ahmed Nadeem, Secretary Shanawaz Khasim, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Ross, and other officials.
